Re: log: bruce/jason
[Bruce was under no illusions as to what the nature of Selina and Banner's relationship had been. Even with that knowledge, however, he didn't consider the possibility that the other man might have been responsible. He didn't know enough about the Hulk to jump to that conclusion, and maybe that was fortunate. Needless to say, he wouldn't have reacted well. Instead he nodded, trying to keep his expression neutral, hiding his fear that he might not have the chance to ask her.] I will.
[Selina wouldn't rest willingly, he knew that. She wasn't the type to sit still, to take it easy, but the circumstances didn't leave her much of a choice.] It might come to that, but we'll handle it. [He supposed it made sense that Banner didn't know yet; the lives of millions upon millions of people would take precedence. He had to focus on the anti-toxin before anything else. Bruce didn't like it, but he understood, and he left it at that. Once the antitoxin was done and Marvel had begun to recover, something could be done to cure the poisoning.
He was glad that Jason had told him, though, despite the nature of the news. Better to know than to be left in the dark.
Jason's response to his remark about looking tired didn't make him smile, exactly; he couldn't fake it that well. Under different circumstances he might have, yet there was still a hint of that potential in his expression.] I understand. I feel the same. But it couldn't hurt to get some rest.
