Re: Log: Sharon C/Gwen S
[Sharon wasn't sure reassurance was what she needed, but hearing someone say it was all that mattered. It was a sound she could remember, a sentence she could hold onto and during this moment she was looking for any number of things to grab hold of to keep her centered for as long as she could.
She closed her eyes, maybe if she didn't look she could get through it she wouldn't see the faces that haunted her. Steve's gaunt and pale, contrasting with the ugly angry crimson tones of the Red Skull - the face of the doctor that knew all of her secrets and used them against her.
She smiled almost sadly - she wasn't supposed to be able to hurt Steve either.]
I don't know. What do you need me to do? [She wanted to be able to, she knew restraints wouldn't help, she'd stop being able to separate the truth from the fear and she'd make it worse. But she wasn't sure what she'd do if she wasn't restrained either.] We can try.
