Re: Log: James P/Sirius B
[When Sirius' head bobbed above the water, an apple in a witch's brew, James continued to laugh, clearly delighted by his own cleverness. He splashed a wall of water toward Sirius as the other boy began to retreat to the fringes of the bath.—He didn't give chase, but instead, went, in fact, to pick up his spectacles from where he'd left them near the mermaid window.
With Sirius here, he didn't quite trust his surroundings enough to blunder through them blindly.—That and he knew it unsettled the boy.
He slipped them on and tread water enough to turn around, back toward his mate.] Alright, they're back on, you can look at me again, you idiot. [James breaststroked over.] So I'm to celebrate the birth of my son and mourn the deaths of my parents on the same day. [He was low in the water, its tide high on his face, chin brushing the warmth and safety of the bath.]
