Fleur had spent her time these days finding a foothold in this new world. Devouring the news and any information she could glean, she began to piece together the handful of years she had yet to experience. It was, to put it lightly, confusing.
But it was also gladdening. The Dark Lord gone, the world fresh with peace and hope, it lifted a weight off of Fleur's shoulders that she hadn't been realizing she kept after the TriWizard Tournament. It made her feel less guilty about going out.
Dressed in blue robes, the epitome of style back home, she took the opportunity to head to Hogsmeade. Heads turned as she entered but it hardly mattered, too used to that sort of reaction wherever she went. An empty booth in the corner caught her eye and though she side stepped around people to get to it, someone nearly collided with her and she, in turn, brushed against a young woman in a purple muggle dress. "Pardon me," she said with sharp smile, the heavy accent weighing her words though not as badly as it so often did with longer sentences.
