Re: [Wayne Tower: Alexanders]
[As Alexanders piled in, Louis watched Sam hug each and every one with increasing incredulity. The change, it was obvious, hadn't purely been physical. Shane, on the other hand, still looked very much the worse for wear. He was cleaner than he'd been when he first came round to the apartment, when the very sight of him was enough to make Louis ill, but he still wasn't all the way there. Seeing him laugh reminded him that he needed to drag him off to a dentist sooner rather than later to get that tooth looked at. There was nothing like seeing someone return from that kind of ordeal to put your petty arguments in perspective.
Callum was perhaps an even more exotic sight, though, and Louis looked him over for all the tell-tale Alexander signs he'd come to expect. There was a never ending list of siblings for him still to meet, it seemed, but for now he offered a smile and a nod.] Callum, is it? Good to meet you. [Times like these, when everyone was hugging and treating each other like real siblings, that he actually felt the childhood he'd missed, a quiet, strange ache, like a phantom limb. For better or for worse, there it was. As Joey strolled away, he called after him.] Make it two bottles. We'll go through the first before all the glasses are out, I expect.
