Riiigght. Someone has to explain the caffeine-babies thing to me. [And, he squints as if he's trying to figure it out for himself. But, Eddie's no doctor. He can stitch up wounds, but to hell if he knows the first thing about babies.] Good, I'll be right back. There's no one in there at this hour. Make yourself comfortable. Be astounded that I solved the entirety of today's crossword puzzle. [He wiggles his eyebrows at her and then vanishes into the tea shop.]
[A little while later he comes back out. Two cups and a smile on his face. He sets hers down in front of her and then carefully sits down in his seat. Said like he's in a commercial about tea. His "old timey" voice which is bordering on a Mid-Atlantic accent.] Here we have the Marshmallow blend. A luscious tropical papaya balanced with bright hibiscus and orange with sweet, creamy marshmallows and coconut. [His voice goes back to that regular, almost modern Gotham accent.] In other words, it's sweet. Do you hate sweet? I can take it back.
