Re: Batcave: Bruce B, Gwen S (Carnage)
When Gwen began to speak, his attention shifted to her, fully and completely, edging nearer, listening to her. "hI", he said, though what name he was answering to now was up for debate indeed.
When the wall went up, he chuckled, thick and dark like bubbling silt, and watched as Banner scampered back. "bRoKeN, hUH?" From the other side of the wall, there was a loud smack as Carnage attached itself and began to climb over. It wasn't all that high, and he practically flowed over the top of the structure. It was a laughable defense, and he was still laughing. "wE dId," the creature said, knowing somehow, almost a scold. "aNd tHEn YoU lOCKeD mE aWay. NOT NICE." The tentacles whipped faster, edging nearer to her, and the words came out as a hiss. "BuT I sTIlL wANt tO HeAR yOu SinG AgAIn."
Then Banner slid in between them, and the symbiote slowed down, hanging back, edging sideways to see if Banner followed. He did so love to play with his food. He didn't like the man's words, though. They made anger bubble up in his chest, and a claws tentacle slammed into the ground in impatience, throwing up chunks of cement. "yOu dON't kNow ANYTHING. YoU LIED tO mE. sAiD YoU cOULd FiX iT. NOTHING cAn FiX iT." Nothing was funny anymore, and something, either in the symbiote or its host, was clearly deteriorating. There was anguish in what little remained there, and betrayal. "HoW aRE yOU GoINg tO FiX mE NOw?" A mock, but it was a wrench through his chest to say it, and every cell was whispering not to worry himself, not to fuss, just to eat the girl. He snapped his jaws with an audible clack, frustrated, confused, hungry.
