Re: Batcave: Bruce B, Gwen S (Carnage)
For him there were no obvious signs. Bruce was a study in control, or lack of control, so there were never any small signs when it came to him. It was either big and green or shuffling and awkward. Even if he did notice any differences, he would question if he was projecting it, since everything was subtle. He was level and calm, despite everything, so that was something they'd have to trust for now. It was the only option, he couldn't waste time testing anything.
"I don't know. Did you see the conversation he had with me?" He linked the group lock to it while it was happening, and it was disturbing. "He made it clear it was I instead of we, but you'd know better than most if it's Carnage lying." Bruce didn't have to point out that Carnage was very different from Venom, because no one knew that better than her. And it wasn't helpful. Instead he just put a hand on her shoulder gently as he passed. "His family will get through to him, and we will fix this. We've all made it through at least one alien invasion together, we can handle it." He had to believe it, so maybe he could get her to believe it.
"We'll get him into the suit and see what we can do from there. Maybe this time we can find a way to separate them, if we have the time." Bruce was worried though, about Jason in general, but especially about Gwen. It was why he insisted on being there, just in case, regardless of powers potentially being off. The symbiote was looking for her, they knew it, and he wanted her dead. There was no where else he could be right then. "He's stubborn and he's strong. And we'll get our chance to yell at him later."
