Re: [Beacon Hills Hospital]
"What was the shade?" She asked of the garage door, a smug little expression on her face. Being superior made her feel better sometimes. It was a reminder of the past, of days before clinging to hands and showing up in places she didn't remember going to. She watched his hand extend to bat the balloons, and there was a surprised smile on her face when she looked back at him. "How do you know what sand and sienna are?" She gave him a little look. "You haven't actually dated anyone, have you?" It was a superior little question, one that said maybe she'd noticed him before she'd admitted she'd noticed him, and she certainly didn't think he'd ever dated anyone. Unless Scott counted. But Scott wouldn't have the slightest clue what sienna was.
"Leslie will get you shoved into lockers forever." She said it like it was common knowledge. She'd been the most popular girl in school once; she knew all about nerds and lockers. Then she became a pariah, and now she just didn't care about pretending anymore. It was kind of liberating, kind of scary, kind of like blazing a path in the new Spring fashions before anyone else was wearing them. "And Lightning could imply that you don't have staying power." Her smile was so sugar sweet, but her gaze slid.
