Re: log, Hogsmeade: Victoire W/Sirius B/some James P & Teddy R
Sirius was, in fact, flirting with Teddy - the hair was cool but Sirius flirted with absolutely everyone (except Snivellus). It was a problem. And the high point of his life. He did his best to make sure that everything he did would absolutely rake his parents over the coals should they get wind of it. And he often did his best to make sure they got wind of it. There were exactly two people in the world who served as a voice of reason in Sirius Black's life. James' mum and Remus Lupin.
He listened, leaning closer, and a bit closer until he was leaning on the table while Crazy Eyes spoke. He was actually listening, his mind was trying to work it out. He wasn't a complete idiot, something was clearly amiss. Nothing was quite right and this girl clearly believed everything she was saying.
He laughed when James got knocked with a teapot and vowed to order nothing unless it happened again. Which it did. And then ordered his own.
He tried not to think too much on children and what not, but he was pretty impressed he rated someone naming a child after him. "Well, you've called us 'you two' so apparently we aren't in trouble any longer," there was a bright side to everything.
And then Remus walked in. "Remus! You're here! Sit!" he said and didn't wait for Remus to sit down but yanked, unceremoniously, on his arm (but not hard enough to damage the poor child) and sat him in between he and James who were already taking up the two seats but they scooted - with much wriggling and knocking perfectly shaped and not at all sharp shins into table legs - but they scooted. "Mam'zelle was just regaling us with tales of our future children. That one is yours." He said pointing at Teddy. He was pointedly ignoring all discussion regarding Remus' death and refused, entirely, to acknowledge it.
