Re: log, Hogsmeade: Victoire W/Sirius B/some James P
James wanted to tell Sirius the other boy owed him for that heroic act, but with the soundproofing cancelled, he just held quite still and quiet—which, surprisingly perhaps, he was quite good at, given near on a decade of running amok after dark with professors out to get him and his mates (the four of them could even shuffle nicely together under the thing, you'll be pleased to know).
The boy under the cloak retreated as quietly as possible, on light trainers, as Sirius sidestepped him and moved toward the door. Indeed, it was quite the miracle he didn't bust out laughing at the blue nose. (Had he heard French? Anyone could do wandless magic—anyone with any intelligence (a.k.a. not Snape)), but she spoke French, not Latin.) But, see, he was learning self-control, and he didn't laugh, and wouldn't Evans be proud?
He had to tear his eyes away from the girl.
Limber, he bustled inside in front of Victoire and Sirius, and tried to avoid running into any flying teapots.
