Scott was a terrible liar. An absolutely horrible liar. Allison knew him inside and out, and even if she didn't, the guilt was there on his face. He should have known that she would find out, and it wasn't right to keep it from her, but at the same time. Multiple feelings crossed his expression, dark eyes darting away from her. "I'm ...." He thought about it. "I'm sorry. Kira told me when she got here." That first night, when he met this stranger who knew him, and told him horrible things were coming. But she was right about Stiles.
"I thought maybe if we changed what happened, that wouldn't matter, so you wouldn't have to worry about it." Not the smartest or healthiest way to respond to information, but Scott was still learning. And coping. He rubbed a hand on the back of his neck. "I don't know how any of this works, but that's not like ... the only end result, you know?" Or so he hoped.
