Re: corner couch: steph/banner/eddie.
Eddie's surprise that he read the books and subsequent mention of Selina had Bruce's expression gentle, and he smiled softly at them both. "I'm not friendly for any reason other than I want to be. I said I'd read them, and I couldn't resist when you're throwing around words I don't understand." That was honest, pure and simple. He'd be polite for Selina, but he wouldn't make friends with someone unless he genuinely liked them. It was too alien for him to make them freely. And time consuming. "Soon I'll be memorizing the spell names and wizard history. It's good to throw in something creative between all the text books."
The nickname for Steve made him chuckle. "Captain Dreamy is another name he'll answer to, if only to stare." It was a funny thought, but not something that Bruce himself would ever do. Stephanie's mention of visiting got his interest and he nodded. "Sure, if you wanted to. New York's actually an amazing place, outside of the alien attacks. It's a good place to visit." Not so much to live in, but that was sort of underlining, since it was a giant city.
"Evil scientists? You know I'll help whatever way I can, I'm particularly not fond of them." They were a discredit to the topic, and he hated when they purposely tried to experiment or mess with people simply because they could. Bruce understood that some of his kin were cold as ice, they viewed everything the way they viewed test tubes or lab rats. "I'd be up for that, if you don't mind me occasionally going off on rambling tangents about what I do understand there." He smiled and made brief eye contact with them both. "I'm like a kid in a candy store there."
