Re: Corner couch: Banner/Harl
He realized she was very smart after their second conversation, since the first one was during a heist and she was just giggly and having a good time. But he was relieved she seemed to get he needed a little space, and there was no offense meant in her body language in response. Bruce lost some of his built tension thanks to that small shift, and his warm smile was back. He liked Harley. She was like no one else he'd ever met, and he liked interesting people. He hadn't forgotten the Joker or how that all went down, but at the same time he never doubted what she said about Selina. That's why he relayed the message. He could tell it was real.
He did assume the implication there was enough, since they weren't a secret. She told him once that everyone else seemed to know before anything happened. He didn't talk about it much all the same, outside of Tony. Still Harley was a friend, or at least friendly, so he was willing to tiptoe out of the comfort zone. "No, I don't mind," he confirmed. Her jealousy was something Bruce liked, actually. He shrugged when she said Selina was lucky, but there was a shy smile in there, wondering if it was close to true.
"I'm not really the type to begin with." He had two partners in his life at this point and he chose it that way. Bruce gestured in the direction of where she'd been, referencing the sex. "Are you going to pursue that? I don't know him, which Bat was it?" He knew Jason and Dick, but he knew there were at least two others.
