Re: Dance floor, but nearer the bar: Lin/Sam/Tess
Sam still didn't know who Nelly was. She was better about shit now, yeah? More caught up with things like television and music, because there wasn't much else to do when you spent all your fucking time inside like she had for years. So, she wasn't as oblivious as she'd been once, but Lin's music was still something she had no point of reference for. She didn't need it, though, because it was kinda basic, yeah? It was going to be loud, and it was going to thump, and it was going to be the kind of shit people ground their asses against bodies to.
Yeah, ok, she could deal.
She smiled when Tess asked Lin if he was going to show her up. Him, because Linny would always be a him, no matter how big his clit was. She brushed Tessy's hair off her shoulder, old habits and that same easy affection and familiarity from before the time when life fucked her sideways.
"Fuck, yeah," she said about showing Lin how it was done, because her and Tessy? Dancing had been their thing. It was a great way to lift fucking wallets, yeah?
The dancefloor wasn't super crowded, and Sam wouldn't have cared if it was. She was abandon and hips and the kind of dancing that came with being really fucking young and not caring whose attention you caught. Hey, Neil was off being a fucking pirate, and they had shit to work on anyway. As far as she was concerned, anyone pretty was fucking game. She tugged her fingers through Linny's hair, and she shimmied back against Tessy, and fuck who was watching. Did. Not. Care.
