Re: Dance floor, but nearer the bar: Lin/Sam/Tess
Lin’s new found ladyhood was easy to roll with. Sam’s spontaneous age down? A little harder. But Tess was Tess, and if there was something she was good at, it was rolling with things. The hug was returned, messy and fierce, for out of all the weird shit, it was always good to see her little sister smile. She hadn’t been doing nearly enough of that shit in a long time. Plus, there was dancing. “For old times’s sake,” Tess agreed with a mock long sigh, though there was a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth, growing wider as Sam tugged on her strap. “Hang on, hang…” She took one last hearty sip of her drink before leaving it on the table and ambling after the other two girls.
A laugh bubbled from her, loud and long, as a change of music was being demanded. She saw some incredulous looks tossed their way but she still saw the DJ grin and nod. The song was coming. Guess the old assholes already pissed that they were causing a ruckus were going to get more than they bargained for soon.
“You’re going to show me up?” From the sound of it, Tess didn’t believe it was even possible. Sure Lin had his moves, but there were still Alexanders on the dancefloor. The music was already rolling into their request and her hands and hips were moving along. Tossing her hair aside, Tess looked over at her sister through the passing curtain of blonde hair and with another shake of her head, she called out to her. “Going to show Lin how it’s done?”
