Re: Eddie/Holly: late, near the food
The cakepop/margarita combo? She was so a fan. Holly grinned at that whole kiss-smoosh deal because it looked from the outside like a routine, like they did this whole kissing, affection thing so often that they had it down. And Gotham had many things, but sweet? That didn't swing around so much as dirty cops and bad decisions.
The baby looked like she belonged, even dressed like a sugar-puff, and she wasn't going to touch, not really, but her fingertips grazed the edge of that dress, wistful. But the second there was mention of doors that stuck, she shook off wistful like that. "I don't get stuck," she said with brash, Gotham confidence, and a grin for the blond with the great tats, "And I don't know what a Mass Effect is. But sushi and shopping, I'm so in."
If this was what happened when Gotham became not her Gotham? She was down.
