Re: Eddie/Holly: late, near the food
Eddie was at the food table, holding a mason jar margarita in one hand and a cake pop in the other. He stared at them, a boozed gaze of a man who thought of something smart that he had never thought of doing before. Daringly, Eddie dipped the cake pop into the margarita, took a flavored bite and then nodded at his wisdom. "Best idea I've ever had." He murmured and then whiplashed his head around, dark eyes wide. "Where's my wife! Wife! Wifey!" He called and then looked down to see Holly stuffing her purse. His expression changed from worry to recognition and he gave her a funny little smile. "Oh, hey Holly. I'm glad you could make it. Did you find the place okay?"
If the riddled man had been paying attention to the security perimeters (he didn't need to, Superman was here), he would have laughed at Holly sneaking in. Did Selina haze this girl so bad she felt the need to cat everywhere? Even places she was invited?
He took another bite of his cakepop dipped in margarita.
"You know, in my day I used to steal everything that wasn't bolted down. At the carnival, they had this old guy working the candy apple stand and I'd take one every morning." Eddie tapped the cakepop stick to his lips in thought. "Oh, damn. I think that's why he got fired! Whoops. Have you seen my wife, Holly? Did you bring us a wedding gift?" Eddie gave a smarmy little smile that said he was teasing. He didn't expect anything from any of his guests, frankly. That's why Banner got a hug for the Harry Potter stuff. He deserved it.
