Re: cult fighting: eddie/diana/zee/hellblazer/liam
Diana loved working with others. Her cooperative skills came from training with the Amazons, but when she worked with the rest of her team, she was always impressed. Their unique skills gave them edges she would never ordinarily see. It was not the right time to openly admire Zatanna and Constantine's work, but she was going to later on. Once the mission was a success. She was good at drawing attention to herself, so when she crashed in the bulk of the ordinary cult members went straight for her. She held off killing blows for them, but they were dangerous, if she gave them enough time to be. Her slices through the air were graceful and just enough to hurt them, without cutting their throats. It was a careful line.
She kicked one man with a single push to the chest, and he bounced backward and into another person. It was then she heard Eddie and shot a quick look in that direction. That was a horrific display; she did not see the beauty in it, only the pain. Her anger was a living breathing thing when the fire was stoked, and nothing made her angrier than seeing someone suffer. Diana sheathed her sword and picked up an entire lounge chair. One of the long ones that should not be so easy to balance, but she managed it. She fled to a reasonable distance in front of the back wall, becoming an intentional obstacle between the winged man and the others.
Anyone who might try to get to him or to Edward when he moved was going to get a rude awakening, because Diana swung the couch as if it was made of styrofoam and slammed anyone who came within range of her backward. As she moved to establish a better perimeter, she went so far as to take a quick grip of a chair with her foot and kicked it right at someone's head. It broke apart on them. The spectacle would hopefully take the most of the attention.
