Re: cult fighting: eddie/diana/zee/hellblazer/liam
Zatanna knew Gotham well. Her father hadn't liked for her to spend time in the city, but he had relented for Bruce Wayne's ninth birthday, and there had been no turning back. It was no fairytale land, and the black-haired, blue-eyed girl had never expected it to be. The city was a cautionary tale, dragons and monsters, and while she didn't feel it in her marrow the way other Gotham residents did, she did love it in the way that one loved something from childhood. It was a place of memories, a place for visiting, but she didn't want to live in these dark and narrow alleys.
But her job with both Leagues had taken her to many worse places, and she stood there listening to Riddler's orders with attentiveness. This was not the team she was accustomed to, and the lights that emanated from the people in front of her was only newly familiar. She couldn't predict their actions yet, but that would come with time. For now, listening was imperative, and she nodded in acknowledgement of the plan laid before them.
"If they're not magical, I can bind them. If they know magic, they can resist, but they would need to be stronger than I am to resist entirely," she said, and the confidence in her voice spoke to having bound many, many people with more impressive powers than members of a cult would have. But if demons were present, John would need to handle them. Demons had powerful magic, and that was his area, not hers.
