Re: Wayne Manor: Barbara and Zatanna
Zatanna nodded with understanding. She'd heard about Richard's injuries, and she understood how bad they were. "I don't like asking about times and places, and I think it's interesting that we all intersect here, but would he know me? It would be strange to show up in the hospital room of a stranger." She smiled. "I could go in costume, and I could pretend I was trying to find a child's room, rabbit and tophat in hand, if he screamed and threw me out." She smiled at the idea, and she might try it. Richard had been a dear friend, and she had mourned him in her world, as had everyone. An unwitting pawn, and she knew how that felt.
"You're not younger." She smiled, and there was curiosity in her eyes when she mentioned Oracle. "You're Batgirl in my time. I think everyone in my time is younger. You and Richard are on again, off again, but everyone knew it was only a matter of time." She smiled warmly. She liked the girl with the red hair and the opinions that bubbled over. The dog made her laugh, and she shook her head at the number of animals in a home that she remembered as quiet and dreary. "Bruce never had pets, not in all the time I knew him as a child, and certainly not as an adult."
She reached for a slice of cheese, and she considered how best to succinctly tell her own tale. "I am a member of a version of the Justice League in my time. Wielders of magic, and I work with Bruce when he needs it. I live up the hill." She motioned behind herself, toward the large house in the distance. "One of my team members is here, Constantine, but he too is from another path." She nibbled on the cheese thoughtfully.
