Re: clem rescue - graham/shane/jack/clem
[C Block had represented safety since they'd cleared it out. A temporary haven, even home, but Graham knew damn well what those sounds behind the double doors represented and it wasn't any of those things. He stopped a second before Clem did, his hold on her tightening almost imperceptibly in the face of a new threat, and he stole a glance at Shane, just one, because Christ this wasn't good. Out, they had to get out. Out of the prison entirely, hell knew where they'd go, but the corpses had reclaimed their prison and the tide of the dead could never be stopped, only stemmed for brief moments of time.
He let Jack go first, let the killing machine see what lay in wait for them. It was as he'd expected, and he wondered about the others. Wondered, but there was no time to dwell, only to hope that they'd made it out before he steeled himself and plunged into the fray to clear a path. Clem was kept close, all but nailed to his side, and along with the clawed man and Shane the exit soon came into view.]
Go. [One word, just that. Out, he slammed through the doors, and he didn't stop. Fences breached and more dead shambling their way, but Graham made it to the car and all but shoved Clem into the passenger's side before slamming the door shut behind her. A jerk of his head to Jack, because he knew Shane knew to get the hell in, and he threw the car into drive with the door still half open; out, away from the prison, and then he'd start thinking about where.]
