She noticed the light flush to the tops of her cheeks, but chose against commenting. The woman within the known body (and there was no doubt that it was a woman) would likely be made uncomfortable by such a thing. That was not tonight's objective. It had been too long since she had enjoyed a woman's company, even if it was nothing more than sitting close and conversing with one.
Nor did the long look in the mirror escape her notice. It was not vanity. She, herself, did not bask in her reflection, nor use it to scrutinize all the ways they might be similar or different. It simply was, and she as going to use it to her advantage.
Her fingers curled loosely together with the other woman's, anchoring unsteady fingers with sure ones. "Do you like to travel? Have you seen much of the world?" An easy topic in her consideration, one that did not rely on the body she was inhabiting to answer, but the woman within it.
