Re: Third floor balcony
The laughter made him grin in echoed recognition. Igor smiled as easily as he scowled, which was a moderate relief and he rested his elbows back against the rail and put one foot up against the glass that showed all those people below like oblivious ants. He didn't think he could take a genius, not even one with vodka.
"Were you prepared for this?" and he took the vodka bottle out of the other man's fingers because if you waved it like that, some was sure to end up on the floor and that wasn't going to get either of them drunk, was it? He could feel his head pleasantly begin to spin which meant Igor was a lightweight - somewhat cheering given how many people he knew who could drink without it taking much effect. He didn't think you could prepare to be scooped up in an invisible hand and dumped down somewhere like this, and he swallowed another mouthful that slipped down far more easily.
"Contingency planning," he said sounding knowledgeable. Maybe even a little smug. Igor must have been good at that because it came easily. "I like contingency planning. I don't really go in for unpredictable." Igor might. He had the cheekbones for it. And when the man swung in closer to spill secrets, he blinked once, long eyelashes over pale eyes as if he wasn't used to anyone coming that close.
