The smile was met with one of her own, but one that was more true to who she usually was, smaller and tentative.
And though she often couldn't read people, couldn't figure out what she should be doing in response. But even she could see that there was something not being said, and it earned another frown, small, confused. "What?" It was a question whispered so softly that it could be ignored, barely making it past that lush mouth. And then she was shaking her head, because her going meant being alone, and she was that so often that there wasn't necessarily anything comfortable about it. At least not tonight.
The slide of touch along the thin material of the suit raised goosebumps along her skin and made her shiver. The tangle of fingers with hers was surprising, and she perhaps tightened her own fingers and clung a little too tightly. "You can stay... if you want."
