Re: [Science Bros]
[If people told Bruce he destroyed the world, he would avoid people and feel endlessly guilty, but he also wouldn't be surprised either. There was no end in sight for how destructive the other guy could be. There was the ever present concern someone would get their hands on him and make more of them, and that would be a disaster for sure. Tony was a weapon designer and he felt a lot of guilt over the ways his weapons were used. Bruce intentionally stopped creating things that could be potentially dangerous. He would never make that mistake again. He didn't know how to comfort his friend on that level, because the reality was their minds were dangerous. Maybe the most dangerous parts of them.
Bruce watches him roll over and follows him, offering an arm so he can get up and make it to the dentist chair. Tony doesn't have to show that he's unable to stand. He can tell.] Is there a reason you aren't at least researching a possible end to the problem? A permanent one. Inevitably this is going to kill you, and you can't keep recovering this way. Someone isn't always going to be standing around ready to help if an emergency happens.
