[Science Bros]
[Rush is wailing about being called a working man when Bruce enters the lab and JARVIS issues his usual polite greeting. Tony has made a heap of gadgetry to one side that is ready for somebody to take it over to R&D, a precaution he's taken partly to get them off his back, partly to make sure the work doesn't go to waste in case he croaks, and mostly because he likes showing off.
He's watching a rotating model of the arc reactor and the magnetic field it powered, leaning back on a rolling stool and drinking a smoothie the color of mold. His skin is the color of old drywall. Without greeting he says:]
The problem with Nuclear Magnetic Resonance is containing the field and the superconductors. Also the idea that the gases being manipulated might, you know, kill me, before they actually get to working on the magnet part. It's an interesting idea and I bet it would work if I wanted to spend the rest of my life in a suit. Right now I'm looking at a modified planarized waveguide. A second piece. Sandwich everything between two fields. Might be a problem when cholesterol starts building up though.
[He rotates slowly on the stool to face his friend.] Vampire? That's really all you could come up with?
