[He waits ten minutes and, after no response comes, he starts looking for what he missed. The stitching catches his eye by chance, standing out against the fabric, and he ties it around one arm as a sort of trophy before heading to his next destination: the zoo.
It's a sad, sad place. Gus would hate it but Gus isn't here, and he prowls around for a minute or two before coming upon the weary attendant. To give him his due, Luke asks for the giraffe (and the scroll) politely at first. But the man declines, and the claws come out, and he gives the poor attendant a choice: the stuffed animal or his fingers. The attendant makes the right choice and Luke is all politeness again, even vaguely apologetic before he takes off and climbs one of the cages to read the scroll in privacy.]
