Re: luke h/wren h
[Luke fully expects to find himself in the middle of a crazy, upside-down Wonderland, but there's no talking cats or card people or any of the weird stuff he remembers from the Disney movie (he's never read the book, oops) and he breathes a sigh of relief. It almost looks normal, blue skies and quiet, but the architecture and the gated school ahead give away that the time period isn't quite modern day.
The school is his destination, and he hops the gate with no trouble at all and a smooth landing on his feet. He finds the playground easily enough and then it's a hunt to find the clue and, okay, maybe he enjoys it, maybe he gets a thrill thinking about what waits for him at the very end. He finds the note under the swing after a couple minutes and reads it, sprawled out on his back, and the French makes him laugh. Like the other note, this one gets folded up and tucked into his pocket before he finds himself a way into the school.
He prowls the hallways until he finds the right classroom, and her note makes him smile. He sits, and he takes the pen and dips it into the ink and writes, filling page after page with words until he's finished and they're all folded up and tucked inside his jacket. Time to move on.] Buying clothes. [He mutters to himself and shakes his head.] I'm going to end up in something totally embarrassing, I can feel it.
[Regardless, he leaves out a window, hops the fence again, and goes looking for a tailor.]
