You fucking told her about Liam? [There's a question mark, and yet, it's really not a question so much as an incredulous epithet.]

[Messily, but not erratic or anything. The day after her conversation with Russ.] Sorry I didn't stick around long, baby.

Can you write, or is that not something vampires can do or whatever?

batman vs batman quicklog: warning violence

[Damian was not content sitting still during the 72 hour bounty on his life. While it would have been wise hiding, he frankly had nowhere to go. No one to trust enough to take him in, let him lick his wounds and then return to the fight. His sister, his family, his friend. All couldn't see the cause he was fighting for. And sometimes? The Dark Knight couldn't see it himself. Here in the darkness of the Arkham sewers, he could admit that to himself. What was this all coming to? What would he actually achieve? And, did he really believe he could stop his own father?

No, of course he didn't. He also didn't believe his soul was worth saving anymore. He'd do one last thing he believed in. He'd cure Gotham of its greatest evil and escape to find out what sort of man he'd grow up to be elsewhere. The plan was simple. Use the remaining pieces of explosives he had left, attach them to the vital structures of Arkham and blow the entire place up with all the crazy people inside. Without Arkham, without the vile people within, maybe Gotham would have a real hope. If he couldn't stop the mobs with his violence, he could stop the crazy.

Dressed in his tattered Bat cape and cowl, Damian worked carefully to put C4 on an old, stone pillar. His hand shook from lack of sleep and food. His other arm was tucked at his side because moving it away from his chest hurt too much. He was running on empty and his time as Batman was running out.]

news: marvel

[A string of robberies hits the NYC area over the weekend. Consisting mostly of electronics, comic books, and snack foods, it all occurs during the day in broad daylight, yet those present for each of the robberies find themselves unable to provide any information as to the identity of the responsible party. By Sunday morning, things seem to have tapered off, though people are still wondering what in the world happened.]

[fuzzy time, during the gotham armistice]
-I will give this place one thing:
-technology is leaps ahead of us
-fascinating what humans can accomplish in just twenty years

-but I don't want to overstay our 72 hour welcome
-shall we leave before war breaks out in the streets?

LOG: Oliver Queen/Sara Lance

[ This wasn't her city, but she was learning as much about it as she could. Quietly. It was difficult with Ollie gone, but she had managed before he or Felicity had shown up, and she would continue to manage on her own. It wasn't like there was a lack of work to do. As much as she once wanted to go home, that was no longer an option for her. Home was end of her story, her true escape. Sara was not ready for that yet.

She didn't know how it was possible for a city to have more crime than Staring did before Oliver had gone back to it. But somehow she always found something to do, even if it wasn't League Official. That was a whole other department she was still adjusting to and figuring out.

It was late, she had just stopped a mugging, and now found herself on the rooftops, staring down at the city below. There was a quiet up here that she loved, you could almost look out at the world and think nothing was wrong with it. Not from this point out. But there was always something wrong, and the longer she waited around up here, the higher the chances she had of missing something important down there.

Before she could leave, movement caught her eye. A familiar outfit, a familiar figure. But she couldn't be sure just yet. So she followed him, she had to know it was him. Sara didn't want to get her hopes up, but she was also going to be pretty damn pissed off if had been back in town for longer than just a couple of hours and hadn't informed her. It was one thing if they were home, but in this place? He was so getting hit for that.

Maybe he was very much aware he was being tailed, but she kept following, growing more sure it was him with every passing minute. She knew his movements, his style. That was Ollie. So she closed in, and when she was close enough, she jumped. He completely deserved to be landed on. ]

They're looking for someone. An "it" which makes me think it's someone they plan on dissecting.
