[When boys play...well, girls will play, too. While Dr. Banner, Stark, and Steve had their escapades on that ostentatious bus with scantily clad women and alcohol pouring down mouths, the women on the other side of their coin -- Natasha, Pepper, and Peggy -- decided it was right about time for them to spend some time unwinding. Peggy hadn't actually
done something like this in years: a moment to sit down and get to know two of the ladies she would potentially be interacting with much more in the future. Frankly, just
spending time with other women was few and far between for Agent Carter. There was the army, then the war, and then life after the war in the SSR. Then, of course, was the inception of S.H.I.E.L.D. which consumed her wholly and readily.
Now, however, there was time. Time to adjust, to learn to live again, to cultivate relationships better for the twenty-first century.
Her apartment was warm, if standard, but there are some touches here and there that speak of a home. Piles of books, S.H.I.E.L.D. files that have been organized and tucked away, that gramophone right next to her beige couch with the record Steve chose still on it. Though she has some liquor in the apartment, she told the ladies to bring what they like to drink. She had no idea what people liked nowadays, though the sweetness of their teas and coffees was some indication. A very off-putting one. She waited patiently for the women to arrive, the sonorous melody of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong echoing towards the hallway outside. She was dressed as casually as she can, a black skirt and white blouse with her hair pinned back. She still hadn't learned how exactly to dress like the rest of them did nowadays.]
