Gotham: Hal j/Sara L
[ It was hard not to stare, wide eyed, almost slack jaw stare as Hal arrived and descended to her rooftop. She had no idea how he was going to arrive. She'd assumed by some for of car, or bike. But not...whatever that had been. It was nothing Sara had ever seen before, not even with her years in the League. ] ....Hi. [ her response was delayed as she regained her composure. ]
Hi, yeah, nice to meet you, Hal. [ Sara had been trained to not ask questions she didn't need to know the answer to. But she was pretty sure she needed to know the answer to that. ] What was....how did you do that? [ It had to be some form of science, right? But that kind of science didn't really exist on Earth, did it?
It had to be a hell of a lot more convenient than helicopters, and it was available to people with enough power or influence there was no way the League didn't have access to it. But she'd never seen anything that even hinted toward that. Being the beloved, as she had been called, of Nyssa gave her some freedoms and privileges that many other League members did not have. Not many, but if the League had that kind of power, she might know about it. ]
