Re: Apartment: Sam/Russ/Louis
Sam watched as Russ pushed himself up, and she took his empty cup and held it by the handle, alongside her own. "We're just going to get some sleep or whatever." Because she'd seen the way Lou looked at his body, and she figured he wanted time alone or something. And yeah, she could crawl into bed and turn off the lights and give it to him. It was small or whatever, but it was something she could do.
She walked to the sink and washed the cups. She let Lou keep his, because he was holding onto it like it mattered or something. Then she casually set towels out on the bathroom sink, bright and fluffy, orange and yellow. There was a fresh bar of soap and a travel toothbrush kit that she'd bought, even though she knew she was never going to fucking travel.
Wordlessly, she scooped the cat up and walked back out, and she gave Lou a grin. Russ got scooted out, and the door was locked, and she turned off the overhead light and crawled into bed. "Goodnight, baby." Muffled against a pillow, and she wouldn't sleep or whatever, because Arkham had made her the lightest fucking sleeper ever. But he didn't need to know that. She wanted to give him privacy, and this was the best she had to offer.
