Re: [The Batcave]
It was an awkward flight to say the least, and Bruce kept one arm around Tony's neck, and the other gripping his medical bag. He knew his friend was trying to make it better, but he didn't respond at first. He was running ragged and he knew it, close to the line, and having Tony around was probably the best way to keep him on the right side. Going into the lion's den by himself, so to speak, was not a good idea. "I will," was all he said.
Bruce dropped to the ground and looked around. This wasn't what he expected, although on second thought it should be exactly what he expected. He looked like he generally did. Disheveled, shabby, average, and not comfortable in new places. This was inside a cave. His mind naturally went to concerns about how he'd get out, if anything went sour. But instead he took in and let out a deep breath, approaching the others. To anyone who knew him well, they could tell that his calm was forced, that there was tension in the slouched shoulders, exhaustion in him that had nothing to do with sleep deprivation.
"What exactly happened? Do you know what she was using?" Right to business, but it wasn't meant to be rude. After a pause he said. "Hello." Because he usually forgot to start with that.
