Okay, you know 'back in the day', there were certain diseases that people in colder climates got. Good old rainy England and such. They're still around today, but that's not really my point. My point is that the cure is going somewhere warm and dry to recover. Stay in the damp, you get worse and/or die. Go to the warm and dry and learn how to function there, and after a while you get better and can keep living. But that doesn't make you a tourist, not really.
