Marvel Comics/Log: Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter Who: Sharon Carter and Steve Rogers What: Coffee Where: A coffee shop in NY When: Recently Warnings/Rating: None that I'm aware of. Sharon sometimes likes to say PG-13 words.
Sharon had agreed to meet up for coffee - of course he wanted to meet her, she was just swanning in knowing everything about everyone and being just as calm as calm could be. But that was who she was, and she assumed he'd figure that out soon enough.
But she had stalled for as long as she could, she owed it to Steve to meet him - she was feeling a bit more calm about seeing him again - she'd passed her psych evaluation with flying colors - though she couldn't quite stop chuckling about the look on the SHIELD agent who was administering the exam when he realized she was who she said she was.
Still, she wanted to meet Steve in a public place, in broad daylight. It was safer for him. So she sat outside of an unoriginal Starbucks, on an unoriginal street corner, in an unoriginal pinstripe suit. But the woman in the suit - well she was definitely an original and while she waited for Steve she was helping the woman next to her with the crossword puzzle. Her long blonde hair was tucked behind her ears sensibly, she was wearing a pair of sunglasses on her face and was being friendly enough, she'd obviously been sitting here for a bit - and she had been. But not for any reason than she didn't want to be awkwardly looking for a seat, or for him, so she made the conscious decision to be obscenely early. And she'd made a few friends in the process.
When she saw Steve, and of course that was Steve - just so young. She looked at him for a long moment before she put her hand up in his direction and waved. "Over here, Rogers." Do not panic. Do not panic. Do not panic. Deep breath and a smile.
