[A smile crosses Mary's lips at his words, a smile that hadn't been able to reach them for some time now.]
I would still challenge you to learn Latin, sir Wagner, in the hopes that you may come to appreciate the language before making your decision in regards to the language of the Church.
[The smile disappears, though, when he mentions being persecuted as a demon. It was true. He would be. And had she not met him this way, then she would agree, based on all that she knew about demons.]
By your faith in God, I would believe your word to protect me, sir Wagner. I would brave your world in hopes that we can convince perhaps even one other to follow the path of Catholicism. I cannot deny my curiosity, but I know that I cannot continue in my world alone forever.
As much as I dislike admitting such, I do fear what could happen. There has been enough food and drink in the palace as we generally store far ahead of time and for a large number of guests, but I do not know how long these supplies shall last in my time. [Mary's trying to understand her desire to see another place, now that it's been offered. The man she's speaking with openly shared that he's strange appearing, but his faith sounds true and she respects that above all else. As a princess, for that was what she was raised to be, Mary knows it's her place to reach out when she can help others.]
