[Steph doesn't move from the office, smiling as she hears the commotion of his entrance and Matilda's excitement. She stays there, on the floor of her office, diligently working on the mural as if she doesn't hear any of it at all. It's stretched a little further at this point, a few more inches of buildings, and she's currently working on the park a few blocks away from their apartment building. There are more sketches by one hip, her paint palate resting on top of the papers. These ones are of their home on Earth-3: that restored fountain, their little studio apartment, the Freezes' lab. The few good things from that Gotham.]
Hi, beautiful girl. [When Matilda lays next to her, Steph presses a kiss to her head and rubs her copper fur before looking up at Eddie with a bright smile. There's splatters of paint on her old t-shirt and a smudge of dark blue on her nose and little dots here and there across her bare legs.] Hi, baby. [Grin, grin, and she's clearly so goddamn happy to see him there with her again. She leans back on her elbows to look at him. Brightly.] You don't understand how much I love you right now for bringing those home.
