Re: patrol -- pete/steve (with peggy cameo)
[Truthfully, this is probably as close to an utopia as someone from their time could get. Despite the alien attack, or the threat of Loki, the same pervading sense of war does not exist. It does not taint what they have either, and there is no sense of urgency or panic in them anymore. Peggy doesn't fear that she'll lose him at the moment. It feels safe. It feels like they've earned it. The idea of the honeymoon phase is inconsequential when he is here -- alive and pressed up against her.
Chaste won't do, and she smiles into his lips as the embrace deepens. Her hands skate up his muscular arms to sling her arms around his neck to pull him closer. She slides back against the cushions, up until her back is pressed against the arm of the couch. There's heat in the embrace, a slant of rouge lips and a teasing tongue as the tips of her fingers brush delicately against his blond hair. Maybe there is a hungry sound that slips from her as she tries to pull him even closer still.]
