Tales: Jack's Office, Eddie/Jack
[True to his word, Jack did leave the door open to a room that was bland even to his standards. The walls were painted slightly off white, just bland enough that when the lights came on, one wasn't immediately blinded and bereft of any paintings, or even the typical diplomas hung on the walls that were usually in a doctor's office. The overhead lights were off though, with plenty of natural light streaming in from the windows of the far wall. A lamp in the far corner provided additional light when the room got too dark. Currently it was off, though that could be easily changed if Eddie preferred additional light to what was currently coming in through the windows.
The carpet was generic office gray and the room itself only held three items besides Jack and the lamp. A leather chair that was too shiny to be anything but brand new, the proverbial couch -- also shiny and so new it squeaked whenever anyone moved over the leather surface. The desk, however, that most therapists kept between their chair and their patient had been shoved up against the right wall, out of the way and left there. As for Jack, he was standing at the window in a pair of dark gray slacks and a light blue, short sleeved button down, the corners of his mouth curled up faintly as he watched the going ons outside.]
