Jess managed not to strangle Clint so far, but it was usually better when they didn't work together. That wasn't how the Avengers worked, unfortunately. They all had to go through break ups and divorces and wars together, and be damn professionals about it. And professional by their standards was not punching their own teammates for petty reasons.
Jess was a little frazzled, even if she was coming off as accepting this easily enough. So she was blunt. Also worried. She hated coming at the tail end of fights, it always made her feel helpless. "Okay, it's possible they were, possible. But they weren't, right?" She ran a hand through her hair. "I know it's going to feel crappy no matter what. And that it's frustrating. What can I say to make it better? Or is this one of those let's buy a lot of junk food moments."
