It was her voice that drew Carol out of her reverie. Lifting her head, Carol offered Jess a smirk of greeting. "Crazy, right?" Ah, but Norman Osborn, that name made her roll her eyes. "Norman Osborn," she stated, lifting her mug, "is lucky I have yet to be face to face with him. I don't care if he's saving puppies and helping old ladies across the street--wait." She scrunched her face. "Even then, he's probably got some ulterior motive." Miming crossing something out in the air, she amended: "I don't care if God himself made Norman a saint. I'd still punch him in the face at the first chance I got." With that, she took a swallow of the coffee.
"Fresh pot," she commented, nodding to where the coffee maker sat. "Otherwise have a juice box. Seems to be what you spider folk like." Gentle ribbing, of course. She propped her hand on her chin. "Did he also tell you he was sharing a brain with Doc Ock?"
