Re: Out and About: Tess/Clem
"My sister loved her some quaint things," Clem admitted, memories clouding her vision as she looked out the car window. Things had changed so much since she'd gone looking for small shops all over Georgia with Lorelei. "We had different daddies, and the money came with my daddy. He didn't like sharing it none. She would read about some little shop in the paper, and off we'd go, clear across the state and sleeping at roadside stops. I was just a small thing, but I kept going places like that once she died. It's good for remembering. We came to Atlanta lots."
It was a whole lot of talking, but all of it true, and she motioned to a ramp that looked like it was clear. "That way. We head left and then right at the first pass. Most of the stores got upstairs shops. Maybe we get lucky, and the undead don't like stairs a real lot."
