Re: Hotel: Clem & Penny
[Penny was being told not to fuss, and for once she wasn't gonna fuss. The last thing she wanted to do was fuss. As a matter of fact the last thing she wanted to do was anything, apparently. Because even with that delicious looking cheesecake right in front of her, and as much as she was sure that was exactly what her feelings tasted like, she couldn't even find the energy necessary, or the desire required, to even make a move to eat it. So she just poked at it and made like she was interested in it. Sort of. Enough not to be rude. She assumed.
She lost her train of thought as easy as she had walked in the door and ordered cheesecake. So between not fussing, and not eating, and not calling a travel agent - Penny was pretty pleased to have no responsibilities whatsoever so she just nodded, agreeing without listening. Almost like a real young Penny used to do in church ever Sunday, tired as ever, just nodding when her Daddy's voice would get a little louder as he gave his sermons.]
