Re: [quicklog: gotham ground zero]
Jason's alive. [The repetition was likely unnecessary, but it felt good to do something simple, and confirmation was simple. Being reactive in times of crisis helped stave off panic, and Gwen was quick to cling to anything that helped in that manner.
She watched Harry get lifted, and it helped ground her. His request, while not surprising, did more of the same. And even with her injured arm, following him out wasn't hard. She didn't have webs on her, but she could climb easily enough, though she was gasping by the time she dragged herself out of the rubble, and her arm hurt badly enough that the already dirt-sticky tears on her cheeks were layered over with fresh dampness. But she was okay, and so was Harry.
She knew he couldn't hear her, that he had lost consciousness, but she still nodded.] Oscorp. [She caught her breath, and she directed her attention to Barbara and Damian.] We'll wait until you can spare time to get us back to our door. I can ensure he receives appropriate medical care there. [And, belatedly.] Thank you.
