Re: [Gwen & Harry: Gotham]
[Maybe she held on a little too long, and maybe she held on a little too tight. There was probably a book elucidating the appropriate duration and pressure involved in a casual hug, but Gwen wasn't super good at the whole social cues thing, and she wasn't really concerned with being appropriate or casual. She was holding on for dear life, and it was evident in both grip and lean, her arm tightly wound around his middle, and her cheek against his chest.
On some level, she understood that he might not want the intimacy. He hadn't mentioned her being a clone in their past two conversations, though, and she really wanted him to be okay with her in that moment. Logic dictated that he wouldn't forget she was a clone, not forever, but she was willing to pretend for the moment.
He didn't let go, and he didn't jump away like she was radioactive or something, and she smiled a little and didn't move, either.] I kind of don't have anything to wear here, and I don't know how long I'll be staying. We're shopping. You have super taste. What do you think? [She nodded toward the clothing she'd set down, and maybe she should've moved away right then, but she didn't. She wasn't even thinking about how counterproductive it was to keep clinging to him.]
