Re: [eddie/bruce look for the batcave]
[Ed thought five minutes was a long time to answer the door, but he was from a place of tiny homes shoved up against each other. You could hear the neighbors shouting in Vietnamese across the street, you could smell what the Indian family across the hall was having for dinner. Everything was loud, intimate and small. Here there was expanse, green that stretched forever. A manor that was so tall the weather up there would be different from on the ground. City boys weren't supposed to be in places like this, but he didn't care. He wanted new. He understood that sticking to the same thing would make his mind spiral.
When the door finally opened, Ed was sitting on the top step of the manor chin in the palm of his hand as he looked out towards Gotham.] Oh! [He turned and gave Bruce a cunning, charismatic smirk like he was a late night show host.] Hey, I brought games. We can set them up later. Did you hear Destiny got an overhaul? It's a complete timesink. [Ed said even if he was pretty sure Bruce had no idea what he was talking about.
He handed his friend one of the backpacks and then stepped inside of the giant home. He tilted his head back, looking at how high the ceiling was.] It's like a museum. [Ed said like a kid that wished he spent a lot of time in museums. He looked down at Bruce and waggled his eyebrows.] Let's go look for the cave. What details did you get about it? Is there a Shakespeare bust we can open to reveal a big red button? [Now, that would be silly.]
