Considering that they weren't entirely sure how they had come to be here, either, the answer was sufficient. It wasn't pressed upon, simply accepted as a fact, and the person let out a breath thick with humidity as they leaned back against the building once more. It was too hot to move, too thick in the air to even think properly, so when the woman asked that question, they turned to look at her, eyes glittering beneath a fall of dark, unwashed hair.
"It's here. That's all I know." It was an answer that wasn't an answer, as much as they could give with the information they possessed. No, it wasn't enough, and they didn't think it would be, but it was what it was. Lips parted to say more, but then there was a rustle from beyond the haze and murk, the ambient light darkening as something came closer. Fear prickled along their spine, the hair at the back of their neck standing up, and from somewhere, energy was gathered enough so that they could stand up. "Come on. Come. On."
They didn't wait for an answer, instead pushing forward and grasping the woman's wrist, pulling her away from the sound somewhere in the periphery, threatening and ominous.
