She didn't know what the hell this place was, but Carol already didn't like it. Yeah, there was the idea that this wasn't really real, but she wasn't naive enough to think it was that easy. Not after everything that she had been through in her superhero career (and the government/military work prior). It felt too real to her.
With a frown, she tried to ignore the feeling of her lungs wanting to explode out of her chest. Her eyes flicked over the cottage in a cursory glance before pressing forward. Should she enter it, or was that just asking for trouble?
Right. Because Carol Danvers was a definite stranger to "trouble" and all.
It was then that she noticed she wasn't alone. Her eyes lingered on the leaning figure. There was another moment where she debated if she should approach the person or leave him/her alone, but curiosity, as always, won out. "Hey," she called. Or, at least, she tried to call. The humidity had left her breathless enough that forcing out the word was difficult.
