Re: Hotel: Selina & Robert
[Generally speaking, she was twitchy. This was an aberration, something weak, and the kitty cat believed all affection was weakness, all love. Sentiment could be turned against a little cat burglar just like that. Oh, sure, this Gotham wasn't like that. No villains to string her up by her ankles, no GCPD chasing her noon and night, no capes and no cowls in her wake. But lessons learned young, they stayed, and this one had been shoved deep into the little kitten the cat had once been.
But, she stayed. Just a few minutes, and no one needed to know. She could even convince herself she was doing it for him. He was agitated, and it wouldn't do for him to go turning all green, would it?
Her hands smoothed wrinkles from his shirt at the waist and hips, unplanned movements of gracefully long fingers, whip calloused and spread from years of weapons and rooftops. And he was talking, which was a distraction from that repetitive slip of movement against fabric.]
He loves that lab. [Which explained why Tony would be there, but she shook her head about the access likely being changed.] No, it's probably like the secret entrance and quarters he built for me in Stark Tower. DNA, scan locked to only admit the two of you. He wouldn't risk access codes in that lab. So, someone would need to have you in order to open it, and we both know how challenging that would be.
[She paused, and she considered.] We could try. How badly could it hurt to go stand on the water and talk to JARVIS?
